Raptors Up Close is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public on the fascinating world of
raptors. With the de-listing of the Peregrine Falcon from the endangered species list and the regulation of
DDT, birds of prey have made a tremendous comeback in the United States. The upkeep and management
of our natural resources through moral accountability and education is the responsibility of mankind. The
youth of today must bear the mantle passed to them in such conservation issues as the protection, education
and propagation of birds of prey. Only through conservation, education, and an up close exposure to these
beautiful and daring hunters of the sky, can we expect adults of tomorrow to act responsibly.
